To celebrate the closing weekend of the exhibition Reinventing the Américas: Construct. Erase. Repeat., Los Angeles artists Beatriz Cortez and rafa esparza lead a walk-through of the galleries.

Beatriz Cortez is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles and professor in the Department of Central American and Transborder Studies at California State University, Northridge. Her work explores simultaneity, life in different temporalities and versions of modernity, and speculative imaginaries of the future.

rafa esparza is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist whose work reveals his interests in history, personal narratives, and kinship, his own relationship to colonization and the disrupted genealogies that it produces.
